Under eye circles

Question: I am little overweight in the middle. Also I have good eyes with long and curly eyelashes but have dark circles. How can I hide them and accentuate my eyes?
Supriya

Answer: I'm so jealous of those long and curly eyelashes!

Dark circles are fairly easy to eradicate with the right products. Lancome's "Correctuer," which is a yellow-based concealer, works miracles with dark circles. According to color theory, yellowish tones lighten dark hues, whether it's on a canvas or underneath the eyes. The Lancome Correcteur is my personal favorite, but there are probably other yellow-based products on the market that successfully lift dark circles. This product can be purchased at a Lancome cosmetic counter, found in most department stores. Ask the salesperson to demonstrate Correcteur's proper use for you. You can use the product throughout the day as needed.

To visually slim down your middle area, avoid drawing attention to it with pockets or fabric embellishments (such as trim, gathers, pleats, etc.) that are designed to bring attention to the waist or stomach area. Don't wear your skirt or pant waists too tight as that will create rolls around area your waistline and tummy. Tight knit tops will also accentuate this area. Monochromatic looks should work great for you.

Good luck, Sherry Maysonave
