Crunchy Chocolate Fudge

This is a foolproof recipe for a great chocolaty treat. You can cut the fudge into small squares and place into individual candy cups so that you can share a bunch with your friends.
2 (8 ounce packages) semi sweet chocolate
1 (14 ounce can) sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped pretzel pieces

1. Spray a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish with vegetable oil spray. Line the sprayed pan with waxed paper.

2. Melt the chocolate with the condensed milk in the top of a double boiler over medium high heat. Stir until smooth.

3. Stir in the salt and vanilla.

HELPFUL HINT: To chop the pretzel pieces place them in a mini food processor or hand chopper. Pulse quickly. Pour the pretzel pieces into a colander and shake out any powder residue.

4. Remove the double boiler pan from the water. Stir in the pretzel pieces.

5. Spread the fudge into the lined baking dish. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

6. Remove the dish from the refrigerator and invert it onto a cutting board. Peel off the waxed paper. Cut the fudge into squares.

Yield: Approximately 2 dozen pieces
Preparation time about 20 minutes plus refrigeration
